Access
The gate is open to customers daily from 6am to 10pm. Access outside those hours can be arranged in advance for business customers with a regular delivery schedule. Ring the office and ask.
Each customer is issued a six-digit gate code at the point of signing. The code is personal to the agreement and should not be shared. If you need a second code for a family member or a member of staff, we will issue one at no charge.
Entering the site
Enter your code at the gate keypad. The barrier will lift for approximately twenty seconds. If the barrier does not lift, the most common reason is an unpaid invoice, and the second most common is the code being entered too slowly.
Leaving the site
The exit barrier is automatic between 6am and 10pm. After hours it requires the same code. Please do not follow another vehicle through the barrier: the system logs one entry per code, and a mismatch between entries and exits generates an alert that somebody then has to clear by hand.
Security
- Perimeter fencing with a single controlled entrance
- Individual alarm contacts on every unit door
- Camera coverage of all corridors, loading bays and the gate
- Recorded footage retained for 30 days
- Nightly physical check of all blocks by the duty keyholder
Alarm activations
If your unit alarm activates, the system calls the number on your agreement. Please keep that number current. The overwhelming majority of activations are a door that has not been closed fully on the latch, and they are resolved in under a minute by somebody pushing it.
Your padlock
Units are secured with your own padlock. We do not hold a key or a copy, and we cannot open a unit on your behalf, including if you lose the key. A locksmith can be arranged at your cost.
We sell a suitable closed-shackle padlock at the office for $14. You are welcome to bring your own, provided the shackle fits the hasp.
Cameras
Camera coverage exists for the security of stored goods and for insurance purposes. Footage is retained for thirty days and then overwritten automatically.
Access to recorded footage is restricted to site management. Requests from customers relating to their own unit should be made in writing to the office, and we will respond within five working days.
